CBT, behavioral activation, problem-solving therapy and life-review therapy are effective in the treatment of older adults with depression. Our new network meta-analysis shows that these therapies are more effective than care-as-usual, waitlist and supportive therapy (although the effects of supportive therapy may be underestimated, because it is often used as control condition).
